Try-outs are required for ALL SPORTS. Tryout dates TBD and will be posted on the Chiles Website, social media pages, as well as announced to students on Paws 52 as the start of each sport nears. Signed Parental Authorization Forms are required for all tryouts.
If your child is chosen on a team, one parent/guardian must attend an informational meeting (date to TBD by coach)
Each sport will have a fee to offset the cost of buses, uniforms, coaching and officials.
Parents are encouraged to come to all games and meets (volleyball and basketball games require a small door charge to cover gym costs).
Prospective student-athletes must have ALL physical and clearance paperwork updated annually and turned in to Chiles Middle School. Only those student-athletes cleared by the school will be released and eligible for participation in athletic events.
Practices days are determined by the coach and may be before school or after school.
Games and meets are played on campus or at one of the middle schools in Seminole County on Wednesdays.
Transportation to Wednesday away games/meets is provided by SCPS.
The following documents must be completed and turned in at Chiles Middle School Athletics ONLY once a student has made a team.
Athletic Fee (different for each sport)
Sportsmanship Agreement (given at mandatory parent meeting for each sport)
