Dear Panther families, What a great first week of school!
This week our Panthers have found their way to classes, made new friends, found their "spot" in The Grill and established a solid foundation for this school year.
This week, they attended PAWS Expectations grade level assemblies where we discussed what the PAWS Expectations look like around campus. Please view the presentation here: HERE. Thank you for reinforcing these expectations with your students. See below for pictures of the event.
Next week is the first opportunity for our students and our parents to get involved. See below for information on tryouts for Volleyball & Cheer - they must have a signed permission slip to participate - it is their ticket to get in. See also below for information on the PTSA General Meeting and the Dividend Orientation.

Does your middle schooler need an activity? Something they can participate in as little or much as they like? Adventures? Friendship? Leadership experience? Volunteering opportunities?
Scouting is it! We meet every Monday and we camp once a month. beach trips, hiking, camping, canoeing, and more. Scout choose their adventures. Some like glamping, some prefer primitive trips, most like something in-between. (Check out our Facebook page documenting a year of fun!)
Scouts have chosen to do a life-sized board game (Battleship!) to kick off the new school year. We hope to see you there! (August 24th, 2026) |
Our students will be taking the FAST on the following dates: - 8/31 - Math grades 6, 7, & 8 (not Algebra or Geometry)
- 9/1 - ELA grades 6, 7 & 8
Please note: The second day of testing, Sept 1, we will flip the bell schedule. Students will go to 7th period at the 1st bell and will end the day in 1st period. Lunches will still be through 4th period and will remain the same. Early Release students who come to school first thing that day will stay in the Grill for 7th period from 9:30-10:19. They may still leave early, but will miss class that day and need to notify their teacher. The absence will be excused.
Please see these parents regarding FAST testing:
