Last Friday, we announced our amazing Teacher and Employee of the Year!
- Teacher of the Year: Mrs. Elizabeth Viles
- Employee of the Year: Mrs. Kami Vanderwalker
We are so fortunate to have both of these hardworking staff members on our campus changing lives every day!
On Friday night, members of our Band and Dance Team got a glimpse of high school life as they took the field with the Hagerty Marching Huskies, Unleashed Dance Team, and Hagerty Majorettes before the Hometown Showdown against Oviedo.
The speech and debate club had a little fun with 'Defend the Ridiculous'. Students had to choose a silly prompt to defend, while other teammates provided a rebuttal to their claims. Join our next speech and debate club meeting on Wednesday, September 30th at 8:45 in Mrs. Rose's room. Make sure to have your parents sign the permission form on the school website!
Wednesday, our Panther Volleyball teams won 3 out of 4 games against cross-town rivals Jackson Heights, with both Boys teams winning in 2 sets and JV Girls winning in 3. The home gym atmosphere was electric with the Panther Cheer Team and the Varsity Girls cheering on JV. Go Panthers!
The LCMS Theatre Department honored the memory of Xander, our beloved K9 officer. Every student in Mrs. T’s theatre classes shared a memory or message about Xander, and Theatre 2 presented a keepsake frame and book to Officer Pierce today. We will never forget you, Xander!
