Dear Panther families,
Earlier this week, pictures were delivered to those who ordered them. Emails were sent out by DSP for those who still need to order. If you did not get an email and would still like to place an order, call DSP at 321-952-9876 or email service@dsp-photo.com
On Friday, OWLS Youth Lacrosse visited PE classes, giving our students a chance to try out a new skill.
Friday, we also wore yellow in honor of September being Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
On Wednesday, our Volleyball teams had a clean sweep against Tuskawilla, winning all 4 games in 2 sets. Great job to the Cheer Team for keeping up the hype in the home court.
Fun things are shaping up in our garden area! With deliveries of dirt and mulch, our 18 shiny, new planters will be ready for plants soon.
Students in Mrs. Maiden's AgriScience class presented plans for a Sensory Garden. After meeting with the School Social Worker to learn activities to reduce stress and anxiety, students had to plan: location, map, plants, activities, budget and maintenance. Stay tuned to see which elements from these presentations get used in the final product!
Congratulations to Mrs. Maiden and Mrs. Ortiz-Tatarka for being awarded grants from the Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools as part of their Grants for Great Ideas program. We were the only school to have 2 projects selected.
Students in Ms. Dean's 3-D Art classes made artwork that looks good enough to eat!
Pictures from this week are HERE.
Enjoy this week's Paws52 Broadcast HERE.
Have a great week!
Dr. Laudani

REFLECTIONS IS BACK, PANTHERS!
New to LCMS or Reflections? This National PTA arts program gives students a chance to share their creativity, tell their story, and even advance beyond the school level!
This year’s theme: “What My Culture Means to Me”
Culture can be your family, traditions, food, music, language, community, celebrations—or anything that has helped shape who YOU are.
Choose your creative outlet:
Visual Arts • Photography • Literature
Music • Film • Dance •
You don’t have to call yourself an “artist.” Bring your ideas, your perspective and your creativity. We saw just how talented our Panthers were last year, and we’re ready to see even MORE of you participate this year!
So Panthers… what does YOUR culture mean to you?
