Mega Blast Fundraiser Has Officially Kicked Off!

***Please note:

This also applies when a child is signed out early. Even though you sign them out, you must still enter the excuse request in Skyward. If it is a doctor's appointment, please email the note or drop it off at the front desk.

If you need to sign out your child for an appointment, please do so before 3:30 pm (2:30 pm on Wednesday) so as not to interfere with the car line.

When your child is absent, instead of sending in a handwritten note or emailing the school, go to Skyward and submit the absence. Parents can excuse up to 10 absences per school year with this method if it is an absence for sick, religious holiday, death of a family member. Vacations and sports tournaments are not excused.

If it is an absence for medical reasons, you can email the doctor's note to lcms_attendance@scps.k12.fl.us

There is no need to submit requests ahead of time. This is to be done after the students is absent. Doctor's notes MUST be submitted within 1 week in order to be excused.

Please note - during testing, teachers will mark students absent if they are not in their classroom. Mrs. Garcia will go back and correct the attendance if the student was taking a test. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

PTSA Back to School Social 9/3

The PTSA Back to School Social will be 9/3 from 3:10-4:45 pm.

It will be their ticket to get in. Hard copies will be available in the front office.

Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed to help with the Back to School Social.

We need at least 20 volunteers to make this event happen!

Club Listing

Several of our clubs are up and running.

Parents MUST sign a Google permission slip for each club their child plans to attend.

New club alert:

No Food Deliveries & Drop Offs

We do not accept any food deliveries (Door Dash, Uber Eats, etc.) for students.

We do not accept any drop offs of any kind - PE Uniforms, lunch, homework, etc. If a student forgot their lunch, they will still be fed by Red Apple Dining.

We do not allow students to bring and share cupcakes or other treats. Please save the birthday celebrations for after school.

PTSA Reflections

The LCMS PTSA Reflections Program is Back!

This year’s theme is “I Belong.”

The Reflections program encourages students to explore the arts and express their ideas through creativity. It’s a wonderful opportunity for students to develop confidence, showcase their talent, and earn recognition.

Students can submit ORIGINAL works in these categories:

Dance Choreography
Film Production
Literature
Music Composition
Photography
Visual Arts

Panther Families — We’re SO close to crushing our PTSA Membership Goals for 2025-2026!

Goal 1: 519 Members — Parents, teachers, students, grandparents, & community members are ALL welcome!

Dividend Orientation

This week, we had our Dividend Orientation.
