Principal Update

Our Lost and Found has grown recently. Please have your children look in the lost and found for any items they may be missing. They will have until Friday the 21st to collect any items. The remaining items will be donated.

As we enter this busy holiday season, we have seen an uptick in use in the Growl Grill and the restrooms. Please continue to remind your children that they cannot use them from 9:30-dismissal. Students seen using their phone will receive a consequence.

We are also seeing an increasing number of students without ID cards. Leaving it at home is not a valid excuse. Please tell your children not to let students borrow their ID cards. If your child lost their ID card, please request one using the button at the bottom of the newsletter. The first replacement is free. Subsequent replacements are $2. Once a replacement is issued, the old card will no longer work.

Additionally, we have had a few instances of students spraying perfume or cologne near other students or staff members who are allergic. Please talk to your children about not spraying perfume, cologne, or other sprays in the classrooms or hallways.

If you are at Great Day in the Country on Saturday, stop by the performance stage to listen to our Chorus 3 students from 12:40-1 pm.

The Red Ribbon Week dress up days were a huge hit. Please see a couple of the pictures below. More will be submitted separately.

Have a great weekend.

Have a great week!

After School Tutorial

Tutoring starts October 7, 2025 and concludes on April 23, 2026 and will be held from 4:15-5:15 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Students will receive homework help as well as tutoring in math and reading by teachers and high school students.

Transportation will only be available from LCMS to Geneva Elementary (for those who live in Geneva only. The bus will arrive @ Geneva at 5:40 pm). All others will need to secure a ride after school. Pick up will be promptly at 5:15 pm. If your child will be walking home from LCMS on these days, there will not be a crossing guard to assist.

As a reminder, students participating in the after school tutorial program are expected to follow school expectations and guidelines. These standards ensure a safe and positive environment for everyone. Students who do not uphold these expectations may be dismissed from the program.
