This week had lots going on all around campus:

Last Friday evening, we celebrated our Employee of the Year, Head Custodian, Ms. Claribel Millan Arias. We are so fortunate to have her on our team!

Congratulations to our Chorus students and Ms. Swallow for an amazing Fall Concert "Together We're Unlimited".

We had an amazing 38 Band students selected to perform in All County Band in January.

Design students made Geodesic Domes exploring engineering and geometry.

Teach In was a great success. Thank you to those who came and shared their careers with us.

Eighth graders in Mrs. Heckle and Mrs. Nystrom's classes had fun with a Pop Fizz Changing Chemical Rate Lab.

Congratulations to our Golden Panthers Mrs. Maher and Ms. Freund. We appreciate all they do for our students, teachers and staff!

Thank you PTSA for an amazing Apple Bar treat.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for sharing your children with us. We are so fortunate to have the students and families - along with our faculty and staff - that make Lawton Chiles the wonderful school it is. Thank you also to our fabulous LCMS PTSA and SAC. Without their support, we would not be able to do some of the fun projects and class activities that students love. We are grateful for you all!

Cast will be set before Winter Break

Starting 12/1 - requests can be submitted to change an elective course for the Spring Semester.

Please note: All students are required to take 1 semester of PE each year. All students must take Learning Pathways and at least 1 other pathways course before leaving middle school. 

Deadline to submit: Friday January 9. Schedule changes will not be made after January 9th. 

Please be aware that not every class is available every period. Many classes are already full and do not have room for additional students to be added.
