Welcome Panthers! We were so happy to see all of the parents and students who came to visit last night. It was so nice to see our returning Panthers and meet our new ones.
This is the weekly newsletter that generally goes out on Fridays. It is the best place to look for the most recent information. It is also made available on the school website homepage. I know this one is long - but there is so much to share to get ready for the school year.
As we shared previously, for the 2025-2026 school year, we earned 78% of the points possible towards our school grade, earning us an A for the year. But every year we aim higher - so this year, we are Aiming for the 80s! Check out the 80s pictures of our teachers and admin during preplan! :)
For our professional learning this week, our teachers have been learning new strategies to ensure that all student voices are heard in classroom activities. We will also be launching a few new activities to amplify voices around campus, including a Student Advisory Council and opportunities for parents and guardians to attend Coffee & Conversations with the Principal. Our focus this year is Panther Voices: Every student. Every class. Every day!
And while our school includes 3 different grade levels, 9 departments & over 1,200 students - we are all 1 team = Team Chiles!
Please follow us on social media for updates:
Lots of fun things have been happening throughout the summer, and we have some new staff members to introduce. Pictures of all of these events and our new staff members can be found HERE.
Have a great week! Dr. Laudani |

Did you see? MEGA BLAST is BACK!
After last year’s incredible success, we’re excited to bring back one of our Panthers’ favorite events of the year!
Before your student can join the Mega Blast Kickoff Assembly on Tuesday, August 19, we need a parent permission form on file.
A few things to know: - A completed permission form is required to attend the kickoff assembly in the Growl Grill.
- You’ll need your student’s SCPS Student ID number (you can find it in Skyward if needed).
- Students without a completed form will remain in the outdoor dining area during the presentation.
Mega Blast is one of our biggest fundraisers of year at LCMS, and we can’t wait for our Panthers to experience THE BEST DAY EVER again! |
