Principal Update

Dear Panther families,
Thank you all for your patience with continued A/C issues earlier this week. After our repair on Tuesday, we are all up and running at normal temperatures campus-wide.
Next week, we start our first round of FAST Progress Monitoring.
  • Monday, August 31: Students will take FAST Math, unless they are in Algebra or Geometry.  Students who are testing will report to their testing location at the first bell and will remain there through the end of 3rd period (11:57 am). From there, students will follow their regular schedule going to either 4th period or A lunch. Early release students will still leave at their normal time, following their regular schedule.
  • Tuesday, September 1: All students take FAST ELA. They will report to their testing locations at the first bell and will remain their through 11:57 am. At that time they will start their schedule going backwards (4, 3, 2, 1). Early release students can still leave at their normal time, but will miss one or more of the indicated classes above.
Yesterday, Mrs. Bond's Design classes were hard at work constructing their roller coasters.
Last week, for our first Faculty Fun Friday breakfast of the year, hosted by LCMS Hospitality, teachers and staff took part in our Back To School guessing game for a chance to win one of 3 school supply baskets. Congratulations to Mrs. Martin, Mr. Stone, and Mrs. Prochazka on their win!
Pictures can be found HERE.
Have a great week!

PTSA Reflections

REFLECTIONS IS BACK, PANTHERS!
New to LCMS or Reflections? This National PTA arts program gives students a chance to share their creativity, tell their story, and even advance beyond the school level!
This year’s theme: “What My Culture Means to Me”
Culture can be your family, traditions, food, music, language, community, celebrations—or anything that has helped shape who YOU are.
Choose your creative outlet:
Visual Arts •  Photography •  Literature
 Music •  Film •  Dance •
You don’t have to call yourself an “artist.” Bring your ideas, your perspective and your creativity. We saw just how talented our Panthers were last year, and we’re ready to see even MORE of you participate this year!

Hello Parents,
I hope you and your student have had a wonderful summer! Welcome back to the 2026–2027 school year.

This is a reminder that if you need to request a Parent-Teacher Conference once the school year begins, conferences will not begin being scheduled until the week of September 14, 2026.

The Parent-Teacher Conference Request link can be found on our school's website or in the Paw Prints Newsletter, which is sent out each week.

Until conference scheduling begins, please contact your student's guidance counselor or teacher(s) directly via email if you have any questions or concerns. Email addresses for all teachers and counselors are available on our school's website.

If you need additional assistance, please contact me, Mrs. Moss, our Meeting Scheduler. My contact information is also available on the school website.

Thank you for your partnership and support. We look forward to working with you and your student for a successful 2026–2027 school year!
